Setting proxy information for Java Web Start

If your computer is protected by a firewall, you might need to adjust your proxy settings so that Java Web Start applications work correctly.

To change your proxy settings:

  1. Open System Preferences and click the Network button.
  2. Click the Proxies button, then enter your proxy information in the appropriate text boxes.
  3. Click the Apply Now button.

If you don't know your proxy information, contact your system administrator or Internet service provider.
